will reid art

My work focuses on exploring character through bold, colourful, and playful portraits. I believe art doesn't have to take itself too seriously, and my goal is to create pieces that make people smile and bring positive energy into a space.  I think an individual’s face, eyes, and stance can tell a story about that person and I love to create a narrative for the observer to dissect—like people-watching, but in a painting.  I studied art in college but have been primarily self-taught over the past 6 years. I currently live and work out of Bristol, UK.  My work has featured in exhibitions with my collective, and I’ve completed various commissions and sold prints.   Explore my website and get in touch if you have any enquires.
